A payment that you make to Gaia to start each cycle so that we can fix your cycle costs, pay your clinic all your treatment expenses, protect your IVF journey, and give you access to our Member support and community. Your protection fee is tailored based on your personal details, your chosen clinic, and the type of treatment you plan to have.

The protection fee is based on your personal details, your chosen clinic, and the type of treatment you plan to have. It is typically between $3000-5000. Paying this fee to start each cycle allows us to fix your cycle costs, pay your clinic all your treatment expenses, protect your IVF, and give you access to our Member support and community.

To be able to access the discount you must complete your cycle and have used all viable embryos without having a live birth. If you decide to stop your IVF before completing the cycle that you currently started, you will not be eligible for a discount.

Your fixed cycle costs include your retrieval, unlimited embryo transfers and all medication. Specifically, we pay for your nurse consultations, donor eggs or sperm (when applicable), treatment monitoring scans, treatment monitoring blood tests, egg collection, sedation, fertilization, ICSI (when applicable), blastocyst culture, PGT testing (if applicable), fresh and frozen transfers, embryo freezing, 1 year of storage, and medication up until 12 weeks of pregnancy. Full details about what is and isn’t included in your Gaia Plan will be listed in your Membership Agreement. Speak with us if you have any questions.

Your fixed cycle cost is the cost of a cycle at your chosen clinic which is fixed upfront to include your retrieval, all medications and embryo transfers. Your fixed cycle cost is based on your clinic and the treatment that you plan to have.

Once you have a child, or if you decide to stop trying before completing 3 cycles of IVF, you will repay Gaia the cost of the cycles you’ve had (with any applicable discounts). If you choose to, you may repay in monthly installments over a maximum period of 8 years, with an interest rate based on our assessment of your personal financial circumstances. Your interest rate will be communicated to you before committing to your Gaia Plan and will be 12%. It doesn’t kick-in until the money is due — this means no interest accrues throughout your treatment and pregnancy.

You have a maximum of 8 years to pay back your loan, and there are no early repayment fees.
