About

Dr. Taraneh Gharib Nazem is a double board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility specialist and Obstetrician Gynecologist who cares for patients at RMA of New York’s Westside office. Dr. Nazem graduated from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Medical Advisor for Gaia.

Education

Dr. Nazem completed her undergraduate studies at Yale University, where she graduated with honors. She attended medical school at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she graduated with distinction in research. During her residency at NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Nazem focused on obstetrics and gynecology, was elected administrative chief resident, and graduated with the Robert F. Porges Honor Resident Award for her outstanding performance. She completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

  • Understanding the Reproductive Experience and Pregnancy Outcomes of Lesbian Women Undergoing Donor Intrauterine Insemination
