From past, current and future Gaia Members, hopeful parents and those who’ve been there before, we have created a Gaia Community to start conversations and support each and every community member on their fertility journey.

We have regular Q&As, events with Gaia Members, and fertility experts.

“At first it all sounded too good to be true. But honestly, Gaia have delivered on everything they promised and then some.”

One advice for someone on their IVF journey...
"Be your own advocate!

Remember that exploring potential male factor issues (DNA Fragmentation of sperm etc.) is just as important as female, but isn't anywhere near as heavily focused on as it should be.When it comes to your IVF cycle, take each step at a time, don’t compare your journey to anyone else's as you don’t know their story!

And finally, if it doesn't work out first time, it doesn't mean it never will. Even the best destinations can take a little longer to reach."

"For us, Gaia meant hope. Financially we knew we wouldn’t be able to afford more than one round of IVF if we were unsuccessful, so just to have the knowledge that we could afford to try again gave us hope that we would bring home our rainbow baby."

One advice for someone on their IVF journey...
"Try to find something for just you or you and your partner to do whilst in treatment. It’s so easy for it to be all consuming but it makes it a lot easier if you have other things to occupy your mind, like a day out or a pamper session or even just a nice walk! Also, research the best clinic for you, you’ll spend a lot of time there and you need to be comfortable with the space, the staff and the journey."

“Gaia was always available if you have any questions or fears concerning your journey and that is very important to me especially as a first time IVF patient. Quite frankly it would not have been possible without Gaia.”

One advice for someone on their IVF journey...
"Remain patient and positive because it is indeed a journey with many steps. And also accept things may not go as planned initially but they eventually fall into place."

"Gaia is so much more than just a company, and we couldn’t be happier to have found them. They offer such a personal approach, and being an insurance company, this is so reassuring to us. We feel that no matter where on our journey we will have the community support when we need it."

One advice for someone on their IVF journey...
"Looking back on the start of our journey it really was such a whirlwind and all very consuming.

Things I have learnt and urge others to do is just breathe. Let go where you can, enjoy the process and don’t get lost along the way.

Make time for you. Find moments to do things you love whether it’s walking, meeting friends for a coffee, or eating a really lovely treat for being such a warrior walking this road. Cheer yourself on as you really deserve it.

I think it’s invaluable and really important to build a support network, as there will be times you will want to lean on others.

Trust the process."

"The Gaia community is a safe, supportive, encouraging place that allows you to connect with like minded people who are on the same journey as you. Gaia allows you to share experiences & knowledge with people who only want the best for you."

One advice for someone on their IVF journey...
"My advice for anyone starting their IVF journey would be find a clinic that you truly believe in & trust 100%. Do your research & try and take your time to prepare your body & mind."
"I can't think of anything worse than finding out a round has failed and then having to whip out my credit card."

"I wish something like Gaia existed when I first started my IVF journey in 2019. There are no words to explain how much of a relief it would have been to know that I could have funded our cycles in a much more affordable way."
